In the same journal and in the same magazine is specially highlighted one of these five
persons, Lord Archbishop Theodoro, Secretary of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the
Orthodox Church of Portugal and Chancellor of the same Religious Institution.
This little interview took place in a kind of paradise, the Monastery of the Birth of the
Mother of God – Municipality of Vila Franca de Xira, Cachoeiras – inside the church
under the protection of St. Sergius of Radonesz (of the same Monastery), where the
beautiful icons comprising the iconostasis of the church are highlighted and underlined.
All the chromatic Beauty of the Byzantine iconography – in its greatest splendor – is
admirably and beautifully portrayed and seen in photographs published both on the
first page of the same magazine, and in its two central pages, which do not require any
